The International Tennis Federation's Asia 12&U Team Competition was held in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat for the Year of “Turkmenistan – Motherland of Prosperity”, rich in the history of Turkmen tennis. Tennis players aged 12 and under took part in the competition.

Famous tennis player Mihail Youzny arrived in capital to conduct master classes with young players, after that he had exchanged views with Turkmen coaches and took part in talks on developing international sport association in tennis.

During the year, seminars, national and international competitions were held throughout the country, where Turkmen athletes and coaches showed that they are on the way to perfection. Work is being done to develop this sport in line with the times and can be seen in the fact that the number of young people playing tennis is increasing year by year.

Need to say, much more work has been implemented to life in 2019 in the tennis sphere. These activities will also have a positive impact on the successful performance of our country’s athletes in international competitions, which will be held in 2020.
