Sustainable progress is being made in Turkmenistan as a result of the state initiatives of the President of Turkmenistan on the development of tennis. Cooperation with the tennis federations and academies of the friendly states is expanding. The results of Turkmen tennis players in international competitions can be seen in the results of the development of tennis in our country.

A meeting between the head of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishev and the Secretary General of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan Eziz Dovletov was held in Moscow on April 19, 2019.

During the meeting between the responsible representatives of the tennis federations of Turkmenistan and Russia, the directions and possibilities of establishing bilateral cooperation were discussed.

Ways to organize training camps for athletes in tennis sports complexes of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation were also discussed.

One of the issues discussed was the distribution of entitlements to competitions in Russian territory for athletes of the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan. As a result, fruitful relations between the tennis federations of Turkmenistan and Russia continue today.
