In honor of the 140th anniversary of our capital, on the courts of the multifunctional stadium "Ashgabat" from May 16 to 23, the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan held the Tournament and Championship of Turkmenistan in tennis.

On May 22, the results of the past tournaments were summed up and the winners were awarded.

Andrey Dovmatov,  the national category referee  in tennis, from the city of Mary, acted as the main referee in sports competitions.

Participants of two age categories competed in the Turkmenistan Tournament in singles: athletes born in 2007-2009 and born in 2009 and younger.

Athletes born in 2007 and older took part in the Championship of Turkmenistan, women - in singles, men - in singles and doubles.

140 people from Mary, Lebap, Dashoguz velayats and Ashgabat city entered the tournaments.

In the Turkmenistan Tournament in the age category 12 years and younger, the prize-winners among young men were:

1. Ahundov Imran. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

2. Chagylov Selim. Coach - Azizova Veronika.

3. Mammetgurbanov Resul. Coach - Hummetowa Ummarahmat.

Among the girls in the age category 12 years and younger:

1. Guseynova Ilima. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

2. Charyeva Jennet.  Coach - Dovmatov Andrey.

3. Rahmanova Sabrina. Coach - Romanenko Oksana.

In the Turkmenistan Tournament in the age category of 12-14 years, the winners among the boys were:

1. Pirjikov Selim. Coach - Hallyyeva Jennet.

2. Ataev Resul. Coach - Dovmatov Andrey.

3. Mammetgurbanov Resul. Coach - Hummetowa Ummarahmat.

Among the girls  in the age category of 12-14 years:

1. Bikbulatova Aisha. Coach - Gurbanov Atlymyrat and Hallyyeva Jennet.

2. Muhammedova Meryem. Coaches - Gurbanov Atlymyrat and Hummetowa Ummarahmat.

3. Atamuradova Maria. Coach - Molchanov Yevgeniy.

In the Championship of Turkmenistan among men, the winners were:

1. Rogusskiy Yuriy. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

2. Gurbanov Atlymyrat. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

3. Orazmuhammedov Meylis. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

Among women:

1. Toymyradova Bahar. Coaches - Gurbanov Atlymyrat and Voynich Nelli.

2. Azimbaeva Anastasia. Coaches - Gurbanov Atlymyrat and Gasanov Mirali.

3. Bikbulatova Aisha. Gurbanov Atlymyrat and Hallyyeva Jennet.

In the men's doubles category, the winners were:

1. Rogusskiy Yuriy and Gurbanberdiev Gurbanberdi. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.

2. Gurbanov Athlymyrat and Charyev Hajymyrat. Coach - Gasanov Mirali.
